Tour Details

Day 1: Puno - Islas de los Uros - Amantani

We'll pick you up from your hotel between 7:45 am and 8 am before heading to the port of Puno. There, we will board a boat that will take us to the floating island of Uros. These incredible artificial islets were built with an aquatic plane. We'll spend one and a half hours here discovering the ancestral culture of its inhabitants.

Afterward, we'll enjoy a beautiful crossing of Lake Titicaca. After a three-hour trip, we'll arrive at the island of Amantani. We will eat at the home of a local family and, once we've regained our strength, we'll hike up Pachamama hill, the highest point in the area. At the summit, we'll enjoy a sunset over the horizon.

In the evening, we'll have dinner and, if you want, you can join in a traditional dance with the local inhabitants!

Day 2: Amantani - Taquile - Puno

At 7 am, we'll have breakfast before boarding the boat from Amantaní to Taquile. The best weavers in the world live on this island, whose art is protected by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. We'll explore the island's trails before stopping for lunch.

After lunch, we'll say goodbye to Taquile. We'll finish the tour upon arrival by boat to Puno, dropping you at your hotel at approximately 3 pm.

This tour includes 1-night accommodation in local houses in Amantani. The price indicated is per person staying in a double room.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Puno. If your accommodation is in the outskirts, you will need to go to Calle Jirón Arequipa, close to Plaza de Armas. Please note that pickup is not available from certain locations, including GHL Lago Titicaca and others listed.
