Dolphin Spotting in the Strait of Magellan

On this activity, you'll have the chance to spot dolphins in the Strait of Magellan. Join us on a boat ride where you'll see acrobatic performances from these creatures.

Dolphin Spotting

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Arenas to start this dolphin spotting activity in the Strait of Magellan. Along our route, we'll tell you the story of this maritime passage discovered in 1520 during the expedition led by Hernando de Magallanes.

To enjoy the activity, we'll head to the Bay of Agua Fresca, south of Punta Arenas. When we arrive, we'll board a boat and start sailing around the icy waters of the Chilean Patagonia.

As we sail, we'll have the opportunity to spot dolphins and admire their swimming and jumping abilities. You'll have a chance to see them up close.

In addition, we'll observe the banks of algae that cover the coast in the Strait of Magellan, home to a variety of birds and fish.

After about 3 hours, we'll drop you off again at your hotel.
