Tierra del Fuego Day Trip

Majestic King penguins, incredible landscapes, and a unique museum await on our Tierra del Fuego Day Trip from Punta Arenas. We'll see the only penguin colony of this species in South America.

Tierra del Fuego Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Arenas between 7:15 am and 7:45 am and travel by minibus to the Tres Puentes dock. From there, we'll board a ferry to Tierra del Fuego.

After a boat trip of around 2 hours through the Strait of Magellan, we'll arrive at our destination. We'll head to the city of Porvenir to visit the Provincial Museum of Tierra del Fuego, built to preserve and share the history and nature of the archipelago. You'll have some free time for lunch at one of the city's restaurants.

After lunch, we'll continue to Inútil Bay, where we'll visit King Penguin Park to observe South America's only colony of King penguins in their natural habitat.

We'll return to the ferry and head back to Punta Arenas, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel between 8:30 pm and 9 pm.
