Tierra del Fuego Day Trip

Majestic King penguins, incredible landscapes and a unique museum await on our Tierra del Fuego Day Trip from Punta Arenas. We'll see the only penguin colony of this species in South America.

Tierra del Fuego Day Trip

Having picked you up from your hotel in Punta Arenas between 7:15 am and 7:45 am, we'll travel by minibus to the Tres Puentes dock. From here, we'll board a ferry that'll take us to Tierra del Fuego.

After a boat trip of around 2 hours through the Strait of Magellan, we'll reach our destination. When we arrive, we'll head to the city of Porvenir to visit the Provincial Museum of Tierra del Fuego, which preserves and shares the history and nature of the archipelago. You'll have free time for lunch at a restaurant in the city.

After lunch, we'll continue to Inútil Bay to visit King Penguin Park, where we can observe South America's only colony of King penguins in their natural habitat.

We'll return to the ferry and head back to Punta Arenas, dropping you off at your hotel between 8:30 pm and 9 pm.
