Whale Watching in Patagonia
After meeting at the scheduled time on Calle José Nogueira in Punta Arenas, we'll transfer to Carrera Bay, where we'll board a boat and set sail on the waters of the Strait of Magellan.
During the first part of the boat trip, we will enjoy the sunrise over Tierra del Fuego and Fuerte Bulnes, the first Chilean construction on the Strait of Magellan. The warm glow from the rising sun will be enchanting.
We'll pass in front of Cape Froward, the southernmost point on the mainland of America, where you'll see elephant seals and sea lions resting on the rocks. You'll also have the opportunity to admire humpback whales in these protected waters of the Francisco Coloane Marine Park. We will approach the glaciers of Santa Inés Island to observe these massive ice formations.
Around midday, we will recharge with a tasty lunch on board the boat, before making our way back to Punta Arenas while admiring the captivating landscapes of this remote part of Patagonia.
The tour concludes back at the original departure point.
