Admire majestic humpback whales in beautiful Patagonia and discover the stunning landscapes of the Strait of Magellan on this unforgettable sunrise boat trip from Punta Arenas.

Whale Watching in Patagonia

After meeting at the scheduled time on Calle José Nogueira in Punta Arenas, we'll transfer to Carrera Bay, where we'll board a boat and set sail on the waters of the Strait of Magellan.

During the first part of the boat trip, we will enjoy the sunrise over Tierra del Fuego and the Fuerte Bulnes fort, the first Chilean construction on the Strait of Magellan. The rising sun on the horizon will be captivating.

We'll pass by Cape Froward, the southerly most point on the mainland of America. From the boat, you'll see elephant seals and sea lions resting on the rocks. You'll also have the opportunity to admire humpback whales in these protected waters, part of the Francisco Coloane Marine Park. We'll approach the glaciers of Santa Inés Island to observe these ice masses.

Around midday, we will recharge with a lunch on board the boat before making our way back to Punta Arenas, admiring the landscapes of this remote region of Patagonia along the way.

The tour concludes at the original departure point.
