When making your booking, you'll choose between two day trips to San Lucas Island National Park. Both trips start from the ICT tourist dock in Puntarenas and include transfers via speedboat, a guide, tickets, and lunch.

San Lucas Island tour (6 hours 30 minutes)

The tour begins with a safety briefing before boarding the speedboat to cross the Gulf of Nicoya and Puntarenas mangrove forest, with opportunities to spot dolphins. Upon arrival at San Lucas Island, a guided tour covers its chapel and the historic old prison. You'll have 2 hours 30 minutes of free time at Esmerelda Beach to relax and enjoy lunch featuring traditional local dishes. The tour concludes at the Puntarenas dock by 3 pm.

San Lucas, Negritos and Cedros Islands tour (8 hours 30 minutes)

This option includes sailing through the Gulf of Nicoya, where you can spot dolphins and mangroves. The guided tour on San Lucas Island explores its nature and history, including the chapel and old prison. Afterward, enjoy an albatross watching tour and visit Negritos Island Biological Reserve to see monkeys in their natural habitat. You will have 2 hours of free time at Cedros Island with a choice of lunch: chicken, tuna, or whole fried fish with a side. The tour ends at the Puntarenas dock by 4 pm.
