Quebrada de Humahuaca Excursion
Between 10:15 am and 10:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Purmamarca and depart to explore Quebrada de Humahuaca. Our first stop will be Maimará, a village located near the Paleta del Pintor, a notable rock formation.
Next, we will proceed to Uquía, where you will have free time to explore. Be sure to visit the Church of San Francisco de Paula to see the paintings of the "Ángeles arcabuceros".
After regrouping, we will stop at the Tropic of Capricorn to take photos at the latitude marker. Following this, we will travel to Humahuaca, the largest city in the valley that lends its name to Quebrada de Humahuaca. We will visit its historic centre, including the Heroes of the Independence Monument and the Tower of Santa Barbara before allowing an hour of free time for lunch (not included).
After lunch, we will return to Purmamarca, arriving around 4 pm.
