Quebrada de Humahuaca Excursion

Between 10:15 am and 10:30 am on the day of the tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Purmamarca and leave the town behind. We'll set off to explore the Quebrada de Humahuaca, heading towards Maimará, a village located near the Paleta del Pintor, or "Painter's Palette".

Next, we will proceed to Uquía, allowing you free time to explore. Visit the Church of San Francisco de Paula to see its famous paintings of the "Ángeles arcabuceros", angels depicted with arquebus firearms.

After reunification, we will stop at the Tropic of Capricorn, where the sun can be directly overhead. Following this, we will travel to Humahuaca.

Humahuaca, the largest city in the valley, lends its name to the Quebrada de Humahuaca. We will explore its historic centre, viewing monuments like the Heroes of the Independence Monument and the Tower of Santa Barbara. You will have an hour of free time for lunch (not included).

After lunch, we will return to Purmamarca, where you will be dropped off at around 4 pm.
