Quebrada de Humahuaca Excursion
Between 10:15 am and 10:30 am on the day of the tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Purmamarca and depart towards the Quebrada de Humahuaca. We will stop at Maimará, a village near the Paleta del Pintor, a notable rock formation.
Next, we will travel to Uquía, where you will have free time to explore. Be sure to visit the Church of San Francisco de Paula to see the "Ángeles arcabuceros" paintings.
After regrouping, we will stop at the Tropic of Capricorn, where the sun can be directly overhead. Following this, we will continue to Humahuaca, the largest city in the valley, known for giving its name to the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Here, we will explore the historic centre, including the Heroes of the Independence Monument and the Tower of Santa Barbara. You will have one hour of free time for lunch (not included).
We will then return to Purmamarca, dropping you off at around 4 pm.
