Description

We'll pick you up from Purmamarca between 10:15 am and 10:30 am for the excursion to the Salinas Grandes, one of the largest salt flats in South America and a notable photographic location in northwest Argentina.

During the journey, we will navigate steep labyrinthine trails up the Lipán, Saladillo, and Abra de Potrerillos hills, enjoying panoramic views of the rugged landscapes of Purmamarca. Keep an eye out for local wildlife such as vicuñas and llamas.

At Salinas Grandes, located at an average altitude of 3,450 meters above sea level, the vast white desert creates a striking contrast with the blue skies. A 45-minute visit will include insights into its history and formation before we return to Purmamarca.

Upon arrival back in Purmamarca, you'll have an hour of free time for lunch or exploration before we conclude the tour, arriving around 3:30 pm.
