Pickup from Purmamarca is scheduled between 10:15 am and 10:30 am for the excursion to the Salinas Grandes, one of South America's largest salt flats and a prominent photography spot in northwest Argentina.

The journey involves navigating steep trails up the Lipán, Saladillo, and Abra de Potrerillos hills, providing panoramic views of Purmamarca's rugged landscapes. Participants may spot local wildlife such as vicuñas and llamas.

Upon reaching the Salinas Grandes, located at approximately 3,450 meters above sea level, visitors can enjoy expansive views of the white desert against the blue skies. A total of 45 minutes will be allocated for exploring the salt flats, with insights into its history and formation.

Afterwards, the group will return to Purmamarca, where there will be an hour of free time for lunch or local exploration. The tour is expected to conclude with a return to Purmamarca around 3:30 pm.
