Colorful markets and beautiful temples await on this free tour of Pushkar, one of the most fascinating cities in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Tour Details
The free tour of Pushkar begins at the Gurudwara Sahib, a notable white temple. Here, we will discuss the city's connection to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.
We will then walk around the sacred lake of Pushkar towards the Jagatpita Shri Brahma Mandir, a unique Buddhist temple characterized by its red facade and blue columns, and one of the few temples dedicated to Brahma in India.
The next stop is the Varaha temple, devoted to Vishnu, a significant deity in Hinduism, where we will learn about his importance and devotion.
Following this, we will explore the colorful markets of Pushkar, discovering popular products including fruits, vegetables, and spices.
After approximately 2 hours, the tour concludes in the old part of the city.
