Colorful markets and beautiful temples await on this free tour of Pushkar, one of the most fascinating cities in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Tour Details
We will start our free tour of Pushkar at the Gurudwara Sahib, a white temple. Here, we will discuss the city's link to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.
Afterwards, we will walk around the sacred lake of Pushkar towards the Jagatpita Shri Brahma Mandir, a Buddhist temple notable for being one of the few temples dedicated to the creator god Brahma in India.
Next, we will stop at the Varaha temple, dedicated to Vishnu, where we will explore the reasons for his veneration.
We will then visit the colorful markets of Pushkar to learn about popular products, including fruits, vegetables, and spices.
After a tour lasting approximately 2 hours, we will conclude in the old part of the city.
