General Lagos Villages Tour

We'll pick you up at 6 am from your hotel in Putre, and head to the northern tip of General Lagos. After passing through customs controls, we will arrive at the Tripartite Landmark, the point where the borders of Chile, Bolivia and Peru meet, featuring a Sunday market with products from these countries.

We will browse the street vendor stalls and learn about goods traded in the Andean Altiplano. Afterward, we will go through border control again and continue our tour of General Lagos.

The next stop will be in the town of Visviri, where we will learn about the railway history between Arica and La Paz. The tour will then proceed to the village of Cosapilla, known for its iconic church. Here, we will have a picnic lunch that includes sandwiches, dried fruits, chocolates, and juices.

To conclude, we will visit Caquena to spot llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and other Andean animals. We will then return you to your hotel in Putre between 12 and 2 pm.
