Guane Guane Mountain Hike

Set off on an adventure with us and admire the scenery that surrounds the sacred Guane Guane Mountain. We'll leave Putre behind and hike to a mountain in northern Chile's Andean Altiplano.

Guane Guane Mountain Hike

At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Putre and drive to Parinacota, where we will find the sacred Guane Guane Mountain. We will begin our hike at the base of this peak. The medium-difficulty hike will last around 9 hours and take us through scenic landscapes. The summit of the mountain stands at an altitude of 16,732 feet (5,100 metres) with impressive views.

From the summit, we will view Lauca National Park, Chungará Lake, and the Cotacotani Lagoons. At the halfway point, we will enjoy a picnic lunch of sandwiches, dried fruit, chocolates, and juices before starting our descent back to the trail's starting point.

After the hike, we will return you to your hotel in Putre, with drop-off scheduled between 3 and 5 pm.
