Spend a day exploring the Qhapaq Ñan, an ancient Inca trail declared a World Heritage Site, while enjoying the scenery of the Chilean Altiplano.
Qhapaq Ñan Inca Trail Hike
Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Putre and drive to the village of Socoroma in the region of Arica and Parinacota.
Once there, we'll begin a hike through one of the valleys in northern Chile's Andean foothills.
Our hike will take us along the Qhapaq Ñan, recognized for its historical, cultural and scenic value. The hike will last between 6 and 7 hours, depending on the group's pace, with several stops to appreciate the volcanic landscape.
We will pause at midday for a picnic lunch featuring sandwiches, nuts, chocolate and natural juices. Following lunch, we'll continue exploring the natural areas surrounding the Qhapaq Ñan Inca Trail.
At the end of our hike, we will return to the starting point and drop you off at your hotel in Putre between 4 and 5 pm.
