Spend an unforgettable day exploring the Qhapaq Ñan, an ancient Inca trail that's been declared a World Heritage Site, on our hike. You'll admire the incredible scenery of the Chilean Altiplano while you walk.
Qhapaq Ñan Inca Trail Hike
Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Putre and drive to the village of Socoroma in the region of Arica and Parinacota.
Upon arrival, we'll begin a hike through one of the valleys in the Andean foothills.
Our route will follow the Qhapaq Ñan. This trail is a World Heritage Site due to its historical, cultural and scenic value. The hike will last between 6 and 7 hours, depending on the group's pace, with several stops to enjoy views of the volcanic landscape.
We will have a midday break for a picnic lunch featuring sandwiches, nuts, chocolate, and natural juices. After lunch, we'll continue to explore the natural areas along the Qhapaq Ñan Inca Trail.
Finally, we will return to the starting point of our hike and drop you off at your hotel in Putre between 4 and 5 pm.
