Your adventure begins at 7 am when we collect you from your hotel in Putre. From there, we will set off toward the extraordinary Suriplaza mountains located in northern Chile.

As we travel, you'll have the opportunity to glimpse the imposing Taapacá Volcano, which stands proudly at 19,225 feet (5,860 meters). Our route also leads us to the charming village of Colpita, where we will divert to witness the stunning Suriplaza Mountains, renowned for their striking reddish, ochre, and orange tones.

Throughout our expedition, look out for local wildlife native to the Chilean Altiplano. We may encounter vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas as we explore how these species thrive in the rugged Andean environment. A delightful picnic lunch awaits you, featuring sandwiches, dried fruits, nuts, chocolate, and juice to recharge your energy.

Post-lunch, we’ll continue to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking surroundings of Suriplaza. Our itinerary will also include visits to several local villages, including Cosapilla and Caquena.

Before we conclude our adventure and return to Putre, a short stop will be made in the village of Putre. You will be dropped off at your hotel between 1 and 3 pm.
