Can Gio Day Trip

On this day trip to Can Gio, a designated Biosphere Reserve, we’ll explore a crocodile farm, visit Monkey Island, and hike to the Rung Sac military base.

Itinerary

We'll pick you up at your hotel in District 1 or the specified location at the scheduled time and begin our journey along the Huynh Tan Phat road.

Arriving in the Binh Khanh district, we will take a ferry to Can Gio, a UNESCO-designated Biosphere Reserve.

Our first stop will be Monkey Island, home to over a thousand playful primates. Next, we will proceed to the Hoa Ca crocodile farm for an up-close observation of these reptiles.

Following this, we’ll embark on a 30-minute hike through the forest to the Rung Sac military base, where you'll explore a bunker, view old bombs and mines, and navigate through a gallery of tunnels in the mangroves. An option to reach Rung Sac by canoe is also available.

Around noon, we will take a lunch break at a local restaurant to enjoy the flavors of southern Vietnamese cuisine. Afterward, we'll explore a fish and seafood market as we continue our journey through Can Gio.

We will conclude the day by returning to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving at the original pickup location approximately 10 hours after departure.
