On this day trip to Can Gio, a designated Biosphere Reserve, we'll explore a crocodile farm, venture to Monkey Island, and hike to the Rung Sac military base.

Itinerary

We'll pick you up at your hotel in District 1 or a specified location at the scheduled time and leave Ho Chi Minh City via the Huynh Tan Phat road.

Upon arriving in Binh Khanh district, we'll take a ferry to Can Gio, recognized as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

The first stop will be Monkey Island, home to over a thousand primates. Next, we will visit the Hoa Ca crocodile farm to observe these reptiles up close.

We will then embark on a 30-minute hike through the forest to the Rung Sac military base, where you can explore a bunker, view old bombs and mines, and learn about a gallery of tunnels extending into the mangroves. An option to reach Rung Sac by canoe is available for interested participants.

Around noon, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant, experiencing the flavors of southern Vietnamese cuisine. The journey will continue as we explore a fish and seafood market.

We will conclude the day by returning to Ho Chi Minh City and the original pickup location, completing the tour approximately 10 hours after pickup.
