Boat Journey to Cu Chi Tunnels

Around the scheduled time, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City. Once the group is assembled, we'll board a minibus for the trip to the WaterBus Station in Saigon. Here, you'll hop onto a luxury speedboat that will ferry us to the Cu Chi tunnels, renowned underground structures crafted by Vietnamese guerrillas during the conflict.

During the pleasant boat ride along the Saigon River, you will be served a light breakfast featuring a traditional dessert, fresh fruits, and water while you take in the stunning natural scenery.

After approximately one hour, we will arrive at the Cu Chi tunnels. The experience begins with a short documentary that provides insights into the reasons behind the construction of this underground network by the Viet Cong, its intended uses, and the living conditions endured by its inhabitants. Our journey will lead us through the lush Vietnamese jungle to discover the hidden entrances of the tunnels, where we will explore inside some sections, even crawling through various passages. The guided tour will last between 2.5 to 3 hours, revealing traps devised to mislead adversaries and showcasing bunkers.

Additionally, we will visit the workshops displaying handcrafted weapons, providing an intimate look at the surroundings of the Cu Chi tunnels.

As we exit the tunnels, we will proceed to the trenches where, for those interested, there’s an opportunity to practice shooting with an AK-47, the weapon used by the Viet Cong.

After this activity, take a moment to relax and rejuvenate with some green tea and tapioca. Following our break, we will dine at a riverside restaurant, enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch to round off the day.

Post-lunch, we will return aboard the speedboat and make our way back to Ho Chi Minh City.

The day will conclude with our return to the original departure point, wrapping up a total of 6 enriching hours.

Shooting Activity Details

Participants must be at least 12 years old to engage in the shooting practice with an AK-47.The cost for this activity will be determined based on the number of bullets used and is to be paid on the day of participation.

This tour includes pickup from hotels situated within District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City. If your accommodation lies outside this area, we will reach out to arrange an alternative meeting point.
