If you're in Ho Chi Minh and wish to delve into the history of Vietnam, its history and its war, be sure to join this private tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels with an exclusive guide just for you.
Description
On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your central hotel in Ho Chi Minh. We will then embark on a 2-hour scenic drive through the Vietnamese countryside, during which the guide will provide insights about the region and the historical significance of the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Upon arrival, the guide will present an overview of Cu Chi's history and its strategic importance during the Vietnam War. We will watch a documentary illustrating the intensity of the war and the resilience of the people from 1955 to 1975.
After the film, we will explore the intricate tunnel system, visiting sites including weapon factories, underground hospitals, and kitchens. We will crawl through narrow tunnels to gain a firsthand experience of the challenges faced by the guerilla warriors.
We will then enjoy a taste of history with a serving of manioc, the staple food of Cu Chi's guerilla fighters during the war.
Finally, after 7 hours, we will conclude the tour and return to Ho Chi Minh.
