Ho Chi Minh City Food Tour Itinerary

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. You'll ride a motorbike around the city in search of the best food trucks, stalls, and shops. The route varies if you choose the tour in the morning, at lunchtime, or at night.

Morning and Lunchtime Food Tour

The tour starts with a typical Vietnamese dish: broken rice, served with barbecue pork, vegetables, pickled carrots, and fish sauce. Then, you will visit the old quarter, observe buildings from the US occupation, and enjoy a local coffee while learning about its preparation. Next, you'll explore the Flower Market, the biggest in the country, and visit Chinatown, including the Chinese Lantern Market and a historic temple.

Following the temple visit, you'll sample Vietnamese crepes filled with Asian vegetables, meats, and seafood. The journey continues to the floating market, where you can enjoy fresh coconut water. Afterward, you'll ride through the old mafia area and learn about its history, concluding with traditional Vietnamese beef noodle soup before returning to your hotel.

The nighttime tour follows a similar route but skips coffee and focuses more on evening offerings. You'll start with broken rice before visiting the Flower Market.
