Ho Chi Minh City Tour
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the city centre to start our tour of Ho Chi Minh City.
We'll spend four hours visiting some of the most emblematic places in old Saigon and learning about the role this city played in the Vietnam War. You will find out why its name was changed during the tour.
During the tour, we'll visit the Reunification Palace, the last location in the city to be conquered at the end of the war. Following this, we will visit the Vietnam War Remnants Museum for further insight into this period of history.
We'll also explore Ho Chi Minh City's French colonial heritage by visiting the Central Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, a prominent building where all materials were imported from France.
Another site included in the tour is the Thien Hau pagoda in Cho Lon, a Chinese-style temple dedicated to the Lady of the Sea, known as Mazu. Lastly, we will visit a traditional Vietnamese handicraft factory to observe the production of famous items, including ceramic pieces.
The tour concludes back at your hotel by 1 pm.
