Spend a full day discovering Vietnam's spectacular sights: Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, and Tam Coc's stunning scenery, rice fields, and caves. An unforgettable tour of Ninh Binh!

Tour Details

Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Hanoi at the scheduled time. We will travel southwards to the Ninh Binh region, including a 20-minute stop for purchasing traditional Vietnamese souvenirs like lacquerware and embroidery.

Upon arrival in Hoa Lu, we will visit the citadel that was the Vietnamese capital in the 10th century, exploring temples, pagodas, and other architectural monuments.

At midday, we will proceed to a local restaurant in Tam Coc for lunch. Following the meal, you will take a rowboat along the Ngo Dong River to explore the rice fields, passing through the 'magic grottoes': Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. This route highlights the historical significance of this breathtaking region.

After a day filled with beautiful mountain and river scenery, we will return to Hanoi, with an estimated return to your hotel 11 hours after departure.

Rice Fields in Tam Coc

In Tam Coc, rice is harvested once a year, with sowing in February and harvesting in May, making it the best time to visit. However, the landscape remains stunning throughout the year.
