Spend a full day discovering Vietnam's most spectacular sights: Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, and Tam Coc's stunning scenery, rice fields, and caves. An unforgettable tour of Ninh Binh!

Tour Details

Pickup from your hotel in Hanoi will occur at the scheduled time. We will travel southwards to the Ninh Binh region, with a 20-minute stop during the two-hour journey for souvenir shopping, including lacquerware, paintings, or embroidery.

Upon arrival in Hoa Lu, we will visit the citadel of the Vietnamese capital from the 10th century, featuring temples, pagodas, and characteristic monuments of the region's architecture.

At midday, we will go to a local restaurant in Tam Coc for lunch. Afterward, a rowboat will take us along the Ngo Dong River to explore the rice fields, passing through three caves known as the 'magic grottoes': Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. This journey underscores the historical significance of the beautiful region.

After a day filled with mountain and river scenery, we will return to Hanoi, dropping you off at your hotel 11 hours after departure.

Rice Fields in Tam Coc

In Tam Coc, there is one rice harvest per year, with seeds sown in February and harvested in May, making these the best months to visit. However, the landscape is impressive year-round.
