Tour Details
Pickup from your hotel in Hanoi will occur at the scheduled time, after which we will travel southwards to the Ninh Binh region. The two-hour journey includes a 20-minute stop for purchasing traditional Vietnamese souvenirs such as lacquerware, paintings, and embroidery.
Upon arrival in Hoa Lu, we will visit the citadel of the Vietnamese capital from the 10th century, featuring temples, pagodas, and characteristic monuments of the region's architecture.
At midday, we will proceed to Tam Coc for lunch at a local restaurant. After the meal, we will take a rowboat along the Ngo Dong River to explore the rice fields. During this journey, you will see three caves known as the 'magic grottoes': Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba, while appreciating the historical significance of the landscape.
After a day of scenic views, we will return to Hanoi, dropping you off at your hotel 11 hours after departure.
Rice Fields in Tam Coc
In Tam Coc, there is one rice harvest annually, with seeds sown in February and harvested in May. These months are ideal for visiting, although the landscape remains stunning year-round.
