Sapa 2 or 3-Day Trip

Fall in love with the Sapa region in northern Vietnam, where you'll experience the authentic side of the country, visit mountains, and learn about native tribes.

2-Day Tour

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa - Ta Van

We begin with a pickup from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter and a 7-hour bus journey to Sapa, with rest stops. In Sapa, our guide will take you for a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. We will hike 9 km (5.6 miles) through Y Linh Ho and along the rice terraces of Muong Hoa Stream, passing through the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai before reaching Ta Van Village. After about 3.5 hours of hiking, we’ll check into a local homestay and meet the Dzay family. Evening options include cooking or visiting a nearby bar.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa - Hanoi

Start with a traditional breakfast. We’ll hike through rice paddies and a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, about 2 hours (4 km or 2.5 miles) from our start. After crossing Giang Ta Chai Bridge, we’ll return to the bungalow, shower, and enjoy lunch. You’ll have free time in Sapa Town before we head back to Hanoi.

3-Day Tour

The 3-day tour includes a similar itinerary as above but adds an additional hike on the first day.

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa - Cat Cat Village

After pickup and transport to Sapa, we’ll have lunch and then visit Cat Cat Village, home to the Black Hmong people, followed by a hike to a waterfall. After dinner and some free time in Sapa, we’ll check into a hotel.

Day 2: Sapa - Ta Van

We'll hike the same route to Ta Van as in the 2-day tour, after breakfast in Sapa. Lunch will be served at a local family's home.

Day 3: Ta Van - Sapa - Hanoi

The itinerary will replicate day 2 of the 2-day tour, covering about 3 km (1.8 miles) over approximately 3.5 hours.

Accommodation will be in double, twin, or triple rooms, priced per person. Separate bookings are needed for mixed room preferences. A supplement charge applies for single rooms. Please note this during booking.

Pickup includes hotels in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. For accommodations outside this area, we will arrange an alternative meeting point.
