My Son Temples Trip

Join us to discover the lost kingdom of Champa on this excursion to the My Son temples, an essential visit if you're in Da Nang.

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang at the designated time. A bus will take us south to the My Son temples, approximately a 2-hour journey.

Upon arrival, we'll tour the My Son temples, known as the "Angkor of Vietnam," where you can explore buildings from the Champa kingdom built in the 3rd century amid mountains. The tour includes viewing a traditional Champa dance.

Originally constructed of wood, the shrines at My Son underwent reconstruction using brick after a fire in the 6th century, becoming a significant Hindu sanctuary in Southeast Asia.

After the temple visit, we will stop at a traditional Vietnamese house for a Vietnamese lunch. After 7 hours of sightseeing, we will return to Da Nang by bus or boat, based on your preference, and drop you back at your hotel.

Sunset boat tour

Optionally, you can choose a sunset boat ride. In this case, we'll tour the My Son temples at 2:30 pm and then enjoy a traditional Apsara dance. After the dance, we will take a boat ride back while admiring the sunset.

Hotel pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Da Nang. If you stay on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street or Hoang Sa Street, an extra charge of 50000VND per person will apply on the day of the activity.

Schedules

Depending on your chosen option, the pickup times are as follows:

Round-trip bus tour: Pickup between 7:15 am and 7:30 am.Tour with outbound bus & return by boat: Pickup between 7:15 am and 7:30 am.Sunset boat tour: Pickup between 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm.
