My Son Temples Trip

Join us to discover the lost kingdom of Champa on this excursion to the My Son temples, an important Hindu sanctuary in Southeast Asia, especially if you're in Da Nang!

Description

Pickup will be at your hotel in Da Nang at the scheduled time. We will board a bus and head south to the My Son temples, approximately a 2-hour trip.

Upon arrival, we will start a tour of the My Son temples, known as the "Angkor of Vietnam", and visit the buildings of the Champa kingdom from the 3rd century, set in a mountainous valley. There will also be a chance to see a traditional Champa dance.

Originally, the shrines at My Son were built with wood, but after a fire in the 6th century, they were reconstructed with brick, becoming a significant Hindu sanctuary. A visit to My Son is essential.

After the temple tour, we'll stop at a traditional Vietnamese house to enjoy a Vietnamese lunch. Following 7 hours of sightseeing, we will return to Da Nang by bus or boat, depending on your choice, and then drop you back at your hotel.

Sunset boat tour

You may opt for a sunset boat ride. In this case, we will tour the My Son temples at 2:30 pm and then view the traditional Apsara dance, followed by a boat ride back while admiring the sunset.

Hotel pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in central Da Nang. If staying on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street or Hoang Sa Street, there is an extra charge of 50000VND per person on the day of the activity.
