My Son Temples Trip

Join us to discover the lost kingdom of Champa on this excursion to the My Son temples, an important Hindu sanctuary in Southeast Asia, essential for visitors in Da Nang.

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang at the indicated time and head south to the My Son temples, approximately a 2-hour journey.

Upon arrival, we'll begin a tour of the My Son temples, known as the "Angkor of Vietnam". You will visit the structures of the Champa kingdom built in the 3rd century, set in a valley surrounded by mountains, and witness the traditional Champa dance.

Originally constructed with wood, the shrines at My Son were reconstructed using brick after a fire in the 6th century. These temples became a significant Hindu sanctuary in Southeast Asia.

After touring the temples, we’ll stop at a traditional Vietnamese house for a delicious Vietnamese lunch. Following 7 hours of sightseeing, we'll return to Da Nang by bus or boat, depending on your choice, and take you back to your hotel.

Sunset boat tour

You can choose an option that includes a sunset boat ride. In this case, we’ll tour the My Son temples at 2:30 pm and then see the traditional Apsara dance. After the dance, enjoy a boat ride back while admiring a sunset.

Hotel pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Da Nang. If your hotel is on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street or Hoang Sa Street, a charge of 50000VND per person will apply on the day of the activity.
