Sapa 2 or 3-Day Trip

Fall in love with the Sapa region in northern Vietnam, discovering the authentic side of the country, mountains, and native tribes.

2-Day Tour

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa - Ta Van

The adventure begins with a pickup from your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel, followed by a 7-hour bus drive to Sapa, including rest stops. Upon arrival, a local restaurant will serve you a delicious Vietnamese lunch. Afterward, a scenic 9-km (5.6-mile) hike through Y Linh Ho and rice terraces along Muong Hoa Stream leads to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai, offering views of the Hoang Lien Son Mountains. After hiking for 3.5 hours, you will check in at a local homestay with the Dzay family, relax, and optionally engage in cooking or social activities at a nearby bar.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa - Hanoi

Start with a traditional breakfast from the Dzay family, followed by another hike through rice paddies and bamboo forest, reaching Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao people. After approximately 2 hours (4 km or 2.5 miles), cross the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to catch transport back to the bungalow for a shower and lunch before returning to Hanoi. You’ll have free time to explore Sapa Town before departure.

3-Day Tour

The 3-day tour follows a similar itinerary but includes an additional hike on day one. After lunch on day one, visit Cat Cat Village and a nearby waterfall. The second day consists of a hike following the same route as the 2-day tour, and the third day follows the same itinerary but covers 3 km (1.8 miles).

Includes 1 or 2 nights of accommodation: 2-Day Tour: 1 night in a bungalow; 3-Day Tour: 1 night in a bungalow and 1 night in The View Sapa Hotel (or similar). Accommodation will be in double, twin, or triple rooms, priced per person.
