Enter one of Quebec's most emblematic buildings and discover its best-kept secrets with this Chateau Frontenac Guided Tour.

Chateau Frontenac Guided Tour

At your chosen time, we will meet in front of the Dufferin Terrace. From there, we will walk to the entrance of the Frontenac castle to explore its history.

During this one-hour tour, we will walk around this imposing building that has been converted into a luxury hotel and was declared a Historical Monument in 1981. We will visit the foyer, the Champlain restaurant, the Rose Room, the ballroom, and other rooms, showcasing the decoration of the space.

As we tour Château Frontenac, we will share curious stories about the castle, including the 2000 revelation of a walled-in room that had been kept secret for over 50 years.

Moreover, during the visit, we will uncover the reasons behind the names of the rooms, as 17 suites have been renamed in honour of important personalities who stayed at Frontenac, such as Queen Elizabeth II, the Princess of Monaco, Charles de Gaulle, and François Mitterrand.

After exploring the most photographed hotel in the world, the visit will conclude at the starting point.
