Queenstown & Gibbston: Beer & Wine Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at The Station tourist information center in Queenstown. We'll board a minibus to learn about New Zealand's vineyards and the craft beers produced here.

During the tour, we'll visit three locations around Queenstown and Gibbston, participating in a tasting at each. You'll taste a total of 12 different varieties of wines or beers, depending on your preference. At the last stop, a delicious appetizer consisting of different cured meats, cheeses, pickled products and other local delicacies will be offered.

We'll become experts in wine and beer tasting through the explanations of the driver, who will act as a guide, and videos shown during minibus transfers. We'll learn to identify the nuances of wine and beer and discover the unique properties of the grapes grown in this region.

This tour provides opportunities to admire the natural landscapes surrounding Queenstown. We'll approach the Gibbston Valley, border the Kawarau River and view extensive vineyards as we travel. Photography opportunities will be plentiful!

After a four-hour route, we'll conclude the beer and wine tour back at the starting point.
