Tour Description
On the day of the tour, we'll meet up at 37 Shotover Street, leave Queenstown, and head to Skippers Canyon. We will travel this spectacular gorge in our jeep, passing by Coronet Peak until we reach the entrance of the canyon, with a stop at Lighthouse Rock for panoramic views.
Next, we will arrive at Skippers Suspension Bridge for photo opportunities. We will also visit Skippers School to learn about the first gold prospectors' settlement through artefacts and photographs.
Afterwards, we will head to Deep Creek for a gold panning demonstration and explore notable locations recognized from a very famous movie saga.
