Tour Description
On the day of the tour, we'll meet at 37 Shotover Street, depart from Queenstown, and head to Skippers Canyon in our jeep. We'll pass by Coronet Peak to reach the canyon's entrance, stopping at Lighthouse Rock for panoramic views.
Next, we will visit the Skippers Suspension Bridge for photos and then tour Skippers School to learn about the origins of the first gold prospectors' settlement through artefacts and photographs.
Afterward, we will head to Deep Creek for a gold panning demonstration, and you may recognize some locations from a very famous movie saga.
