On the day of your adventure, we'll gather at 37 Shotover Street before departing Queenstown to begin our journey to Skippers Canyon, an awe-inspiring gorge we'll traverse in our 4x4 vehicle. As we drive past Coronet Peak, we'll ascend to the entrance of this magnificent canyon and take a pause at Lighthouse Rock. Here, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic vistas.
Continuing along the renowned Skippers Road, meticulously carved into the cliffs towering over the Shotover River, we'll stop at a viewing point to take in the sights of the Skippers Suspension Bridge, providing an ideal opportunity for landscape photography.
Subsequently, we'll arrive at Deep Creek for an insightful gold panning demonstration. The nearby landscape features locations familiar to fans of a world-famous film franchise. Are you able to guess which one it is?
