On this hiking tour through the Rainmaker Conservation Park, we'll cross suspension bridges in the jungle and see various butterflies, frogs, and birds. Immerse yourself in nature!

Tour Details

After hotel pickup, we'll travel to the Rainmaker Private Reserve, located 26 kilometres (16 miles) from Manuel Antonio. Prepare for a hike to explore the jungle and its wildlife.

The hiking trail begins at the Seco River, where we'll seek out birds, amphibians, and numerous Morpho butterflies, recognizable by their intense blue colours.

Next, we'll navigate the area of suspension bridges, connected by platforms in the trees. The tour includes a 250-metre (820 feet) journey across six bridges, offering exhilarating views of surrounding waterfalls and concluding at Rainmaker's natural pool, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

After exploring, we'll hike to a 'soda tica', a traditional local eatery, for a Costa Rican lunch featuring a plate of casado, which includes gallo pinto (rice and frijole beans) and salad, with options of chicken in tomato sauce, beef steak, pork chop, or fish fillet.

We'll conclude this 4-hour tour with a drop-off at your hotel.
