On this hiking tour through the Rainmaker Conservation Park, we will cross suspension bridges in the jungle and observe butterflies, frogs, and birds.
Tour Details
After hotel pickup, we will travel to the Rainmaker Private Reserve, located 26 kilometers (16 miles) from Manuel Antonio. Prepare your hiking boots to explore the jungle and its wildlife.
The trail begins at the banks of the Seco River in a tropical rainforest, where we will search for birds, amphibians, and hundreds of Morpho butterflies. These butterflies are often seen in Rainmaker.
Next, we will reach the suspension bridges, connected by platforms in the trees. We will traverse 250 meters (820 feet) across six bridges. Throughout the tour, we will enjoy views of local waterfalls until we arrive at Rainmaker’s natural pool where you can take a dip.
After enjoying the surroundings, we will continue our hike to a soda tica, a traditional local eatery, to enjoy a Costa Rican lunch that includes a plate of casado with chicken, beef, pork, or fish. This dish features gallo pinto, a mix of rice and beans, along with salad.
Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel after this 4-hour tour.
