On this hiking tour through the Rainmaker Conservation Park, we'll cross suspension bridges in the jungle and observe numerous butterflies, frogs, and birds.
Tour Details
After hotel pickup, we will travel to the Rainmaker Private Reserve, located 26 kilometres (16 miles) from Manuel Antonio. Prepare your hiking boots to explore the jungle and its wildlife.
The hike begins at the banks of the Seco River in a tropical rainforest, searching for birds, amphibians, and Morpho butterflies, often seen in Rainmaker with their intense blue colors.
We will reach the suspension bridges, connected by platforms in the trees. We will cover 250 metres (820 feet) over six bridges, offering an adrenaline rush. During the tour, we will see various waterfalls until we reach Rainmaker's natural pool, where you can take a dip.
After enjoying the surroundings, we will hike to a 'soda tica', a traditional local eatery, for a Costa Rican lunch featuring a plate of casado with gallo pinto, salad, and options of chicken, beef, pork, or fish.
Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel and conclude this 4-hour tour.
