Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in downtown Santiago de Queretaro and travel to San Joaquín and Cadereyta de Montes.
First, we will visit the village of San Joaquin, located in the forested mountains. Our initial stop will be in San Joaquin's downtown, followed by a visit to the Mining Museum, highlighting the region's mining history.
Next, we will explore the Gruta de los Herrera, featuring stunning stalactites and stalagmites.
Then, we will head to the archaeological site of Toluquilla, where you will see structures related to the traditional ball game, providing insight into the pre-Hispanic heritage of the region.
On our return to Santiago, we will stop at Cadereyta de Montes for a lunch at local restaurants. Known as a Magical Village since 2011, it is famous for its culinary offerings, especially barbacoa and pulque. You will have time to explore its haciendas, visit the planetarium, and stroll through the botanical gardens.
