Querétaro Wine & Cheese Tour

Do you want to sample the finest Mexican products? On this tour, we'll enjoy the delicious wines and cheeses from the state of Querétaro, whose vineyards blend perfectly with the landscape.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet in the centre of Santiago de Querétaro and travel to a vineyard to learn about the stages of winemaking.

We'll first visit the Viña TX vineyard, where you'll taste a variety of regional cheeses accompanied by a glass of Queretaro wine. You'll experience the vineyard firsthand.

The next stop is at Freixenet de México, where you'll learn about the entire winemaking process inside the cellars located 25 metres (82 feet) underground. You'll taste the house wine and receive a gift glass as a souvenir.

Afterwards, we'll drive to the Magic Town of San Sebastián de Bernal, notable for its gastronomic tradition. Here, you'll have 2 hours of free time for lunch, explore the village, and view the third-largest monolith in the world, known as the Peña de Bernal.

Following this, we'll head to the town of Tequisquiapan, where you'll have 2 hours of free time to stroll the town, visit craft markets, see the main square, view the aqueduct, and taste the local cheese bread.

Finally, we'll return to Santiago de Querétaro and conclude the tour with a drop-off at the meeting point, completing this 9-hour activity.
