Description
Our adventure begins at 8 am at Quero Park, where we'll set off on a hiking expedition through the majestic Cerro Igualata, standing at 4,385 meters (14,385 feet) above sea level, bordering Tungurahua and Chimborazo.
After reaching a hacienda near Quero, we will embark on a 15-kilometer (9.3-mile) journey through a rare páramo ecosystem in the Tungurahua province.
During five hours, we will navigate this landscape, exploring the plant life and wildlife unique to this tropical ecosystem, sharing insights along the way.
At the midpoint, we'll take a break for a sandwich. After resting, we will return, passing through a pine forest and along the Toro Singuna trail, where we may see diverse wildlife.
On returning to the hacienda, a traditional lunch will be served, allowing you to savor local flavors, with time to explore the estate grounds.
