Quero Horse Riding Tour

If you're in Quero, don't miss out on this horseback ride through Cruz de Mayo, San Antonio, and Rumipamba. You'll learn about legends from the Ecuadorian province of Tungurahua.

Description

We'll meet at 9:30 am in Quero Park. Once together, we'll head to a ranch to start this horseback riding tour around Cruz de Mayo, San Antonio, and Rumipamba. Upon arrival at the ranch, we will provide basic guidelines before you mount the horse. A snack break will be provided in nature when needed.

We will enter the communities of Cruz de Mayo, San Antonio, and Rumipamba, surrounding the Hacienda Hipolongo. Along the way, we’ll discuss the daily activities of the Chagras, the farmers of the Ecuadorian Andes, who primarily engage in livestock farming.

The ride will continue as we enjoy the landscape surrounding Quero on horseback before returning to the hacienda. Here, a typical lunch will be served, including a starter, a main course, and a drink. You will have access to all of the hacienda's facilities and can tour it at your own pace.

After seven hours, we will return to the meeting point in Quero to conclude the tour.
