Quero Horseback Riding Tours

Options

When booking, you can choose from the following horseback riding tours in Quero. All tours start and end at Quero Park and include an English-speaking guide, riding equipment, snacks, lunch with a drink, and access to the hacienda's facilities.

Tour of the Igualata moorland (9 hours)

At 8 am, we'll meet at Quero Park and proceed to Hacienda Hipolongo. Riders will receive a pre-ride briefing about the highest part of the Igualata. The ride includes insights about local fauna and flora, with possible sightings of wolves, rabbits, and eagles. The route continues to the Pampa de Guayama, where herds of wild cattle may be observed. After a snack and a 30-minute break, we’ll return for lunch.

Tour of Quero farms (8 hours)

Starting at 9 am, we'll head to the hacienda, where riders will learn about local crop cultivation and the lifestyle of the chagras. Participants will observe various farm animals and traditional farming techniques. Afterward, we'll return to Hacienda Hipolongo for a typical lunch before moving on.

2-day tour

This 2-day horseback riding tour allows for a choice between the two tours above on the first day. Following the morning ride, we’ll enjoy a Creole lunch and partake in farm activities. A visit to Café de la Niebla for a hot drink and a trip to La Quereñita brewery will follow. The day ends with a dinner by the fireplace. The next morning includes a breakfast before checking out at 10 am.
