Quero & Traditional Hacienda: 3 Day-Tour

Day 1

Meet at 12 pm at Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo. Guests will have free time to settle into their rooms before lunch. After a regional lunch, participants will explore the hacienda facilities, learning about farm animals and product harvesting.

Then, travel to Quero to visit Quero Central Park and the Diocesan Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Monte. The tour continues to Puñachizac, home to artisan brewery La Quereñita, known for potato beer. The evening concludes with dinner by the campfire, accompanied by stories.

Day 2

Start the day with breakfast before heading to the upper pine forest for a hiking route, with opportunities to see wildlife such as eagles, wolves, rabbits, and wild cattle. After the hike, enjoy a traditional local lunch at the hacienda.

The afternoon features horseback riding through Páramo del Igualata, with lessons available for beginners. Riders will experience views of volcanoes and snow-capped mountains, including Tungurahua, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo, and Carihuayrazo. The day ends with dinner.

Day 3

On the final day at Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo, enjoy breakfast and have free time to pack. Departure is at 11 am.

This tour includes 2 nights at Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo. Rooms are shared based on group size, with private rooms possible if availability allows.
