Quero & Traditional Hacienda: 3 Day-Tour
Day 1
We will pick you up at your hotel and travel to Ambato, where we will tour the town and explore its historic streets. Afterward, we will proceed to Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo for check-in and lunch featuring regional cuisine. Following lunch, we will explore the hacienda's facilities, learn about farm life, and visit the town of Quero, including Quero Central Park and the Diocesan Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Monte. We'll also stop at the artisan brewery La Quereñita known for its potato beer. The day concludes with dinner by the campfire.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will hike in the hacienda's pine forest, with a chance to see wildlife like eagles, wolves, rabbits, and wild cattle. Following the hike, a traditional local lunch will be served. We will then explore Páramo del Igualata on horseback. An expert will offer riding lessons for beginners. Enjoy stunning views of volcanic landscapes, including Tungurahua, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo, and Carihuayrazo. The day ends with dinner.
Day 3
On the final day at Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo, after breakfast, you will have free time to gather your luggage. We will drop you off at your hotel around 11 am.
