After picking you up at your hotel in Quimbaya at 9 am, we'll head south into the surrounding area full of farms and crops.

We'll arrive at Granja de Mamá Lulú, a pioneer in ecological agrotourism in the region and country. The idea for this agricultural paradise came from two families who have lived together on the farm for over 30 years.

But who is Mamá Lulú? We'll begin this visit with a brief introductory talk to learn about the project's history from one of its founders and a relative of this icon.

We'll listen to the story in the auditorium made with canes of guadua, a type of bamboo. Throughout the tour, we will admire various constructions designed by the family's architect, Hernando Hincapié.

Then, we'll take a walk through the grounds, touring the organic coffee plantations, guadua forests, and inspecting the water harvesting systems. The farm exemplifies sustainability and environmental recovery.

During the visit, we will learn many aspects of the self-sustainable operation of the farm, supplied by natural products from this place. Following the tour, we'll return to Quimbaya and drop you off at your hotel between 11 am and 12 pm.
