Situated on the outskirts of San Pedro de Macorís, the Rum Historical Centre stands as the most renowned rum distillery in the Dominican Republic. Our visit will commence at the designated meeting point at the main entrance.



To start, we'll venture into the barrel aging room, where you'll uncover the secret behind the aging process of rum. You'll gain insights into sugarcane cultivation and the various stages of distillation that contribute to the high caliber of this esteemed beverage.



The next stop will be the blending room, the pivotal stage in the rum production. Here, you'll observe how the drink achieves its unique flavor, aroma, appearance, and texture, establishing itself as a significant product on the global stage.
