Ecuadorian Amazon Multi-Day Tour

Day 1

Depart from Quito to Tena, with a break to stroll along the Malecón and drop off luggage at the lodge. Enjoy breakfast in Baeza before hiking in Cotundo Canyon.

At Cotundo Canyon, observe a demonstration of medicinal mud properties and take time for a refreshing dip. After a local lunch at your own expense, explore the Jumandy Caves.

Return to the lodge in Tena for dinner at your own expense and rest for the next day.

Day 2

Start the day with breakfast at the lodge before heading to Puerto Misahuallí, just 30 minutes from Tena. Visit the beach of capuchin monkeys for an up-close encounter.

Experience a boat ride along the Napo River, looking for caimans, anacondas, parrots, macaws, and toucans. Continue to the Shiripuno community to learn about their customs and crafts.

After lunch at your own expense, return to the meeting point in Quito.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's stay at Hosteria Las Heliconias or similar in Tena. Prices are per person in a double room, with a supplement for single rooms.
