Have you ever heard of an ayahuasca ceremony? As part of this activity, you'll discover this ancient ritual and connect with your inner self.
Description
At the indicated time, we will meet at the main entrance of the Iñaquito Shopping Centre and head towards Templo Jempe, specializing in holistic medicine.
After a 30-minute bus journey, we will arrive at our destination for a unique experience in an ancestral ritual of the Amazonian people. A brief introduction to the shamans of indigenous communities will precede the ceremony, which will open with a drink made from guayusa, a plant native to the Ecuadorian Amazon known for its antioxidant properties and benefits to body and mind.
The ayahuasca ceremony will follow, guided by a healer to help you connect with your inner self. Participants will undergo cleansing with plants from the East, including natural snuff administered by blowing.
This experience will be enhanced by Andean flutes and native instruments. The ceremony lasts all night, after which we will provide a menu of typical Ecuadorian vegetarian dishes and a cocoa drink.
After a total of 12 and a half hours of activity, we will return you to the meeting point in Quito.
