Ayahuasca Ceremony at Templo Jempe

We will convene at the designated hour at the main entrance of the Iñaquito Shopping Centre, from where we will proceed to Templo Jempe, a center dedicated to holistic healing.

Following a 30-minute bus ride, we will reach our destination and embrace this exceptional journey. Are you prepared to immerse yourself in this time-honored tradition of the Amazonian culture?

Before commencing, our guides will provide a brief overview of the shamans from indigenous backgrounds. The ceremony will initiate with a drink derived from guayusa, a plant indigenous to the Ecuadorian Amazon, recognized for its extensive health advantages. Its leaves are renowned for being antioxidant, energizing, and enriched with vitamins and minerals that help purify both body and spirit.

Subsequently, we will delve into the ayahuasca ceremony, guided by the shaman, facilitating your deep connection with your inner being. It is believed that during this ritual, you will be cleansed of negative energies with the assistance of plants sourced from the East, including natural snuff. This preparation, consisting of ground tobacco mixed with medicinal leaves, will be applied through blowing techniques.

The experience will be enriched by the soothing melodies of Andean flutes and other traditional instruments.

It is important to acknowledge that the ceremony spans the entire night. The following day, we will offer a selection of traditional Ecuadorian vegetarian dishes, paired with a cocoa-based beverage.

Finally, after a total of 12 and a half hours of this enriching activity, we will return you to the meeting point in Quito.

Completion of the Activity

During the booking process, you can specify whether you wish to be transported back to the original meeting point in Quito or prefer to stay at the Templo Jempe Centre.
