Join us on a tour around the villages in the province of Imbabura. We'll explore valleys, volcanoes, and lakes.

Imbabura Villages Tour

At 7 am, we'll meet on Avenida de los Shyris & Holanda in Quito. We will depart for a 1 hour 30 minutes drive to our first stop, Cayambe, where we will visit a bizococho factory and enjoy a breakfast.

Next, we will continue to the city of Otavalo to explore the Plaza de Ponchos, one of the oldest traditional markets in Ecuador, and learn about local life.

We will then take a boat trip on the Cuicocha Lagoon, learning about its legends and history, including its creation from a phreatic eruption 3100 years ago.

After the lake, lunch will be provided, consisting of a main dish and a drink. Our tour will proceed to Cotacachi, known for its leather products, where we will visit shops selling various handicrafts.

Before returning to Quito, we will stop at a shop to purchase chocolates made from the best cocoa in the country.

We will conclude our tour and return to the meeting point in Quito by 7 pm.
