Departing from Quito, this day trip takes you to the Mindo Butterfly Garden in the Andes. Upon arrival in Mindo, a guided tour of the garden introduces you to the life cycles of butterflies, along with sightings of hummingbirds and orchids.
After the tour, enjoy a picnic lunch before exploring Mindo independently. Visit a chocolate factory to learn about chocolate making and taste some treats, then return to Quito by around 7:30 pm.
