Mindo Butterfly Garden Day Trip

If you like butterflies, our day trip to the Mindo Butterfly Garden is the perfect activity for you. We'll set off from Quito and spend the day learning all about these fascinating insects.

Mindo Butterfly Garden Day Trip

We will meet at 7:30 am on Avenida de los Shyris & Holanda to board our minibus. Our journey will take us to the village of Mindo in the Andes, where we will enter the world of butterflies.

Upon arrival, you can take a souvenir photo in the Central Park. Following this, we will embark on a guided tour of the Mindo Butterfly Garden.

During the tour, our guide will share information about the life cycles of butterflies. In addition to butterflies, you will also see hummingbirds and various plants including orchids.

After the tour, a picnic lunch will be provided. You will then have some free time to explore Mindo independently. We will also visit a chocolate factory to learn about the chocolate-making process and sample some products.

We will conclude our day by returning to Quito, with an estimated arrival time of 7:30 pm.
