If you like butterflies, our day trip to the Mindo Butterfly Garden is an ideal activity. We'll depart from Quito and spend the day exploring these insects.

Mindo Butterfly Garden Day Trip

Meet at 7:30 am on Avenida de los Shyris & Holanda to board our minibus. We'll drive to Mindo, located in the Andes, to experience the world of butterflies.

Upon arrival, you'll take a souvenir photo in Central Park. Then, we'll proceed with a guided tour of the Mindo Butterfly Garden.

During the tour, the guide will explain the life cycles of these colorful insects. You'll also see hummingbirds and various plants like orchids.

After the tour, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch. You'll have free time to explore Mindo independently. Following your exploration, we will visit a chocolate factory to learn about chocolate production and sample some.

We'll conclude our day and return to Quito, finishing around 7:30 pm.
