Mindo Butterfly Garden Day Trip
Having met up at 7:30 am on Avenida de los Shyris & Holanda, we'll hop aboard our minibus to drive to the village of Mindo in the Andes. Upon arrival, you'll take a souvenir photo in the famous Central Park before a guided tour of the Mindo Butterfly Garden.
During the tour, the guide will explain the life cycles of these colourful insects. In addition to butterflies, you'll see hummingbirds and beautiful plants, including orchids.
After the tour, we'll have a picnic lunch followed by free time to explore Mindo. Later, we will visit a chocolate factory to learn how chocolate is made and taste some. Finally, we will return to Quito and conclude the activity at around 7:30 pm.
