Quito Bike Tour

On this bike tour of Quito, we'll pedal from the modernity of La Carolina Park to the colonial gems of the historic centre.

Activity Details

We'll meet at the indicated time at the Quicentro Shopping Centre to start this bike tour of Quito. The tour covers a distance of 23 km (14.2 mi) and lasts between 4 to 6 hours, depending on the group's pace.

We'll cycle through the financial centre, framed by La Carolina Park, and enter the La Mariscal neighbourhood, characterized by its 1920s and 1930s mansions. The route includes iconic parks like El Ejido and La Alameda, leading us to the historic centre.

In the historic area, we will visit the Basilica del Voto Nacional and explore squares and churches while learning about Quito's legends. A tasting of fine aromatic chocolate at Yumbos Chocolate and a refreshing coffee lemonade at El Cafecito will provide a sweet treat during the tour.

On the return, we'll pass through the La Floresta neighbourhood, known for its bohemian atmosphere and viewpoints offering unique city views.

If you're travelling with children aged 3 or older, we offer the option of bringing them in a child seat on the back of the bikes, provided they weigh less than 15 kg (33 lbs).
