Quito Street Food Tour

With this street food tour of Quito, we will discover the flavours of the capital of Ecuador as we walk through its streets.

Description

At 10 am, we will meet at the Plaza Grande to start the tour.

We will visit the San Francisco Market, a popular spot in the city, where we will taste various juices and smoothies made with exotic fruits and try the typical dish 'mote con chicharrón.

Next, we will explore different 'huecas', where we will taste traditional snacks such as humitas, tamales, and quimbolitos. These dishes will be accompanied by a strong coffee or a cup of morocho, a traditional Ecuadorian drink. We will also taste more elaborate dishes like the national dish, 'encebollado', a fish soup, and ceviche.

For dessert, we will visit the best chocolate in the country. Ecuador is known for its chocolate, which we will pair with the famous Quiteño sweets.

After three and a half hours, we will conclude the tour at 1:30 pm at the Yumbos Chocolate shop.
