Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Plaza Grande in Quito to begin a hiking route to some of the most impressive waterfalls in Ecuador.

We will provide safety guidelines for the activity. From there, we'll take the Ecovía bus to Playón de la Marín and then use public transport to reach the entrance of Cashapamba. Finally, we'll take another transport to the community of Loreto.

The hiking route will last approximately 40 minutes, allowing us to explore the landscapes of the Ecuadorian highlands. During the hike, we will discuss the local way of life and traditions.

Upon reaching the location of the Tres Cascadas ('Three Waterfalls'), we will learn about their significance. A delicious picnic lunch will be provided before we continue the tour.

With renewed energy, we will descend through the canyon to discover the first waterfall after a 30-minute walk through a small mountain forest. Visitors can take a dip in the refreshing water at the third waterfall. Free time will be available for photos and relaxation.

We will then return to the starting point, where transportation back to Loreto will be available. We will use public transportation to return to Quito, concluding the trip after 6 hours.
