Tour Details
The private tour of Rabat begins with hotel pickup. Then, we will explore the narrow streets of the Medina, which has history dating back to the 12th century.
The first stop will be the Kasbah of the Udayas, a historical fortress at the Bou Regreg River where we will discuss the Almohad Caliphate and the Alawi dynasty.
Next, we will visit the Andalusian Garden and the National Jewellery Museum, showcasing Andalusian influences. Following this, we will navigate through the Medina to Sebbat Souk, one of Rabat's well-known markets filled with textiles, rugs, and jewellery.
The final stop will be the Mausoleum of Mohammed V in Hassan Tower Square, notable for its traditional Arab-Muslim architecture. We will discuss the contributions of over 400 Moroccan artists in its decoration.
