On this private tour of Rabat, you'll visit the most famous landmarks in Morocco's capital city, including the Hassan Tower and the Medina, with a guide just for you.

Tour Details

The private tour of Rabat begins with pickup from your hotel. We'll explore the narrow streets of the Medina, revealing its history dating to the 12th century.

The first stop will be the Kasbah of the Udayas, a historical military fortress at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River. We'll discuss the Almohad Caliphate and the Alawi dynasty, who restored the Kasbah and built the palace inside while enjoying the views.

Next, we'll visit the Andalusian Garden and the National Jewellery Museum, featuring significant Andalusian influences. Then, we'll cross the Medina to reach Sebbat Souk, one of Rabat's most famous markets, known for textiles, rugs, and jewellery.

The final stop is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, an example of traditional Arab-Muslim architecture located in Hassan Tower Square. Over 400 Moroccan artists contributed to its decoration, and we'll discuss the legacy of significant figures tied to this site.

This 3-hour tour concludes at this location.
