The castle, completed in the 18th century, is a notable monument in the Ile-de-France region. It has been a property of Louis XVI since 1783 and has hosted figures like Napoleon I and Charles de Gaulle. With this ticket, you can explore the splendid halls and rooms at your own pace and learn about its historical significance, including hosting the first G7 meeting in 1975 and the Kosovo peace negotiations in 1999. The ticket also includes access to the dairy of Queen Marie Antoinette and the House of Shells, as well as the gardens featuring an ornamental pond with artificial islands.
Opening Hours
Rambouillet Castle is open daily except for Tuesdays with the following hours:
October 1 to March 29: 10 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pmMarch 30 to September 30: 10 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 6 pm?
It closes at 4 pm on December 24 and 31, with last entry allowed 30 minutes before closing. Hours are flexible and may change.

Free Admission
Admission is free for:
EU residents aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.
To obtain free admission, present a qualifying document at the ticket office. Admission is also free for all on the first Sunday of the month from January to March and November to December, and the third weekend of September.
