Have you ever dreamt of hiking on a glacier in Iceland? Dare to embark on this unforgettable hike to the Sólheimajökull glacier.

Sólheimajökull Glacier Hike

We'll meet in Sólheimajökull at the arranged time and get equipped with all necessary gear to begin our glacier hike. We will walk for about 15 minutes to reach the Sólheimajökull glacier, part of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, one of the largest in Iceland.

The hike will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, during which we will admire surface cracks and glacier mills, as well as learn about the intriguing feature of volcanic ash on the glacier.

As we traverse this distinct landscape, influenced by the Katla volcano, you'll experience a unique environment resembling a science fiction setting.

After the hike, we will return to the starting point.
