Ravenna's Mosaics

Ravenna, known as the city of mosaics, has the richest collection of Early Christian mosaics in the world. This collection is part of UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites.

This ticket allows you to visit the main diocesan monuments and access 3 to 5 of the following attractions: the Basilica of San Vitale, the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, the Archbishop Museum, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, or the Baptistery of Neon.

Inside these sites, you will see beautiful mosaics of Byzantine origin from the 5th to 6th centuries AD. You will learn to interpret the iconography and the messages behind each work, reflecting the intersection of various cultures and religions and significant historical events.

Depending on your booking choice, you will have access to the following monuments:

Ticket to 2 monuments: includes the Basilica of San Vitale, the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare NuovoTicket to 5 monuments: includes the Basilica of San Vitale, the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, Archiepiscopal Museum (with the Chapel of St Andrew and the Throne of Maximian), Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, and Baptistery of Neon

The ticket is valid for one day, as three hours is recommended to visit all 5 sites.
