San Cristobal Hill is one of the most popular leisure spots in the Metropolitan Park of Santiago de Chile. This tour explores its history and landscapes.
?San Cristobal Hill Excursion
The tour begins at the entrance on Pío Nono Street, where guests receive a pass for unlimited use of the funicular, buses, and cable car within the Metropolitan Park for the day.
Following a brief introduction to the park's history, the tour proceeds to San Cristobal Hill, starting with a visit to the sanctuary of the Immaculate Conception, featuring a chapel and religious sculptures.
Next, we take the cable car up San Cristobal Hill for panoramic views, arriving at the Tupahue station, where we will learn about the history of the pool of the same name before descending by bus or cable car to the Oasis station.
After exploring the Oasis station, the tour continues to the Japanese Garden, where guests can enjoy a floral display reminiscent of East Asia.
The tour concludes at the Japanese Garden. Guests can choose to be accompanied back to the Oasis station, where they can use their transport pass to explore San Cristobal Hill and other areas of the Metropolitan Park of Santiago at their own pace. The park closes at 7 pm, and visitors can enjoy various attractions, including the zoo and Tupahue and Antilen pools.
