Electric Bike Champagne Tour

Discover the origin of the famous French delicacy with this Electric Bike Champagne Tour around Hautvillers and Mareuil-sur-Ay, two beautiful towns near Reims.

Description

At 9 am, we'll meet in front of Rheims train station. From here, we'll take a minibus to Avenue du Champagne in Epernay.

We'll make our way towards a typical country house named Le Clos Corbier, where our electric bikes will be ready. We then start the electric bike tour around the vineyards, discovering champagne terroirs. The tour continues to the village of Hautvillers to visit the church where Dom Pérignon is buried, known as the inventor of the champagne-making process.

The bicycle route concludes at Le Clos Corbier, where we'll visit a family-run winery and enjoy a tasting of 3 different varieties of champagne. Following this, a traditional French lunch will be provided, featuring local products from the Reims area including bread, cheeses, pates, quiches, and rose cookies.

The tour concludes with a return to Reims train station, arriving at 4 pm.
