Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll gather in front of the Reims train station and embark on a minibus journey to the vineyards situated on the outskirts of the city.
Our initial visit will be to a family-owned winery, where members will guide us through the grape pressing room, providing insights into their artisanal champagne production process. Following the tour, we'll indulge in tastings of various signature sparkling wines.
We will then proceed through the vineyard landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring the terroirs that create ideal conditions for grape cultivation for sparkling wine production.
Our next destination is the village of Hautvillers, renowned as one of the birthplaces of French champagne. We will pass by the Church of Saint-Sindulphe, the resting place of Dom Pérignon, and visit another family winery for a tasting of champagne and local products.
Concluding our journey, we'll return to the Reims train station, arriving approximately four and a half hours after the start.
