Tour Details
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel as we set out to uncover the treasures of the capital city of Newfoundland. Experience St. John's both by land and by sea!
Our first destination will be the Cape Spear Lighthouse, which holds the title of being the most eastern point in Canada. As you arrive, take some time to soak in the breathtaking vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and keep an eye out for icebergs that may drift by.
Our journey continues as we explore the historic city and its highlights, including George Street, Jellybean Row, and Quidi Vidi. Be sure to capture these moments with your camera!
Next, we’ll visit Signal Hill, a site rich in history from the Seven Years' War. Here, we will delve into the significance of St. John's in global communications, particularly the moment when Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless message.
To conclude our day, we will head to the harbor and embark on a boat for an exciting 2-hour journey through the icy waters surrounding Newfoundland. The views of Cape Spear, Cabot Tower, and Fort Amherst from the water are truly remarkable! If fortune favors us, we may even spot humpback whales frolicking in their natural habitat.
After a fulfilling 6 hours of exploration, we will return to shore and see you back at your hotel. We look forward to our time together!
