On this small group tour of St. John's, we will visit sites such as the Cape Spear Lighthouse and Signal Hill. A 2-hour boat ride will also allow us to spot humpback whales.
Tour Details
At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the tour of the capital of Newfoundland. We will explore St. John's by land and sea.
Our first stop will be the Cape Spear Lighthouse, the easternmost point in Canada and the oldest lighthouse in Newfoundland. You will have free time to appreciate the views of the Atlantic and any visible icebergs.
We will continue discovering St. John's by visiting main attractions like Jellybean Row, George Street, and Quidi Vidi. Be sure to bring your camera.
Next, we will visit Signal Hill, significant for events during the Seven Years' War and for Marconi receiving the first transatlantic wireless signal.
The tour will conclude with a 2-hour boat journey around Newfoundland’s icy waters, offering views of Cape Spear, Cabot Tower, and Fort Amherst, with a chance to see humpback whales.
After approximately 6 hours, we will return to your hotel. We look forward to seeing you!
