Sculpture Garden Day Trip

On this sculpture garden day trip, we'll visit an art space in Júlio de Castilhos, home to over 600 statues.

Sculpture Garden

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Hotel Recanto Maestro in Restinga Sêca, where a vehicle will take you to the Sculpture Gardens in Júlio de Castilhos.

After a journey of approximately 1 hour, we will arrive at this artistic space which opened in 2005, now housing more than 600 pieces made from sandstone by the artist Rogério Bertoldo. It is the largest exhibition of this kind of sculpture in Latin America.

The sculptures are arranged thematically, integrating with nature to create dreamlike scenes. In addition to normal-sized statues, there are several over 4 metres (13 feet) tall. If you're fortunate, you may see the artist working in his workshop, showcasing his personal technique.

We'll conclude with a snack that includes cava, meats, and sweets, surrounded by the beautiful gardens.

The tour of the Sculpture Garden ends with our return to the meeting point in Restinga Sêca after a 5-hour day.
