On this sculpture garden day trip, we'll visit an art space located in Júlio de Castilhos, home to over 600 statues.
Sculpture Garden
At the specified time, we will meet at Hotel Recanto Maestro in Restinga Sêca. A vehicle will take you to the Sculpture Gardens in Júlio de Castilhos.
After a journey of approximately 1 hour, we will arrive at the artistic space which opened in 2005. The garden features more than 600 pieces made from sandstone by the artist Rogério Bertoldo, making it the largest exhibition of this kind of sculpture in Latin America.
The sculptures are thematically arranged to integrate harmoniously with nature, creating picturesque scenes. In addition to regular-sized statues, there are several over 4 meters (13 feet) tall. Visitors may also get a chance to see the artist working in his workshop.
To conclude the activity, we will enjoy a snack that includes cava, meats, and sweets, surrounded by the beautiful gardens.
The tour will end with a return to the meeting point in Restinga Sêca after a 5-hour day.
