Sculpture Garden Day Trip

On this sculpture garden day trip, we'll visit an art space in Júlio de Castilhos that is home to over 600 statues.

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Hotel Recanto Maestro in Restinga Sêca, where we'll have a vehicle ready to take you to the Sculpture Gardens in Júlio de Castilhos.

After a journey of approximately 1 hour, we'll arrive at this space, which opened in 2005. The garden currently features more than 600 pieces made from sandstone by artist Rogério Bertoldo, making it the largest exhibition of this type of sculpture in Latin America.

The sculptures are organized thematically, blending with nature to create scenes reminiscent of a dream. The collection includes several statues over 4 metres (13 feet) tall. Visitors may have the chance to see the artist working in his workshop, showcasing his unique technique.

To conclude the visit, we will enjoy a snack, including cava, meats, and sweets, amidst the beautiful gardens.

The tour of the Sculpture Garden will end with our return to the meeting point in Restinga Sêca after a 5-hour excursion.
